Why? | Green Development | Community
At MillHaus, the first thing we eliminate are the walls figuratively. We prefer not to have our vision hampered by what others may think isn’t possible, but what we think is the right way to design. That kind of design thinking is evident in our projects from Copper10 in Loveland to our new North Flats in Old Town North in Fort Collins - our work is unlike any other developer’s. And homebuyers love us for it. Walls are good for holding up buildings. But not so good for thinking of new and better ways for people to live.

We want the Earth to be as comfortable with our designs as the people who live here. So we’re always thinking green. We design our residences in a resource-efficient manner to reduce the overall impact to the environment, without compromising design and comfort.
The advantages to building green include:
- improved energy efficiency through building shape and natural lighting
- using sustainable construction materials that incorporate recycled materials
- water-saving appliances and plumbing fixtures
- highly-efficient heating and cooling systems for lowered energy bills
It all means that MillHaus-designed properties make the Earth a better place. And our residences smarter places to live in.

MillHaus’ developments, Copper 10 in Loveland and North Flats in Old Town North in Fort Collins are located in one of Colorado’s fastest growing counties Larimer County.
